1981 through 2011 - Assistant Attorney General in the New York State Department of Law. Primary duties involved representation of charitable beneficiaries in trusts and estates matters, not-for-profit regulatory proceedings, and affirmative investigations. Recipient of Louis Lekfowitz award for outstanding service (2001). Served as Attorney General's designee on New York State Cemetery Board (1996-2001) and New York State Life Care Community Council (1995-1999).
